Life lately..

Oh how I LOVE watching this little girl cheer on the same field as I did:) This was on kick-off, her first time to fly as a 7th grade cheerleader! So far the 7th grade is undefeated!! Maybe it's beacause they have such great cheerleaders!?!?! Lol She is also running cross-country right now so we have some form of practice, game or meet every night but she loves it so it makes it worth all the time.
We just broke this little cutie from the bottle!!! Tear, can't believe he will be ONE in less than two weeks!!! He just gets sweeter by the day:) He is laughing in this picture, at his sissy of course! He is her number one fan! Everything she does just cracks him up! He is just learning new things by the minute. He loves to clap now. I spilled something in the floor the other day and he just clapped and clapped over his mommy making a big ol' mess!

Hunting season has begun so Brandon is loving that! And between all of Kinley's stuff we are getting ready for Hudson's Birthday party. We decided to do to small ones. On his Birthday we will have a playdate with friends and have lunch and cupcakes, then that weekend have a family party. Can't wait!

First steps and a fat lip.

Well this little cutie was sitting in the floor playing away as I was folding the laundry last week. Then all of a sudden he just stood up without pulling up on anything took two steps ( towards his sissy's room of course) I guess he realized what he was doing because he turned to look at me then face planted on our hardwood floor!!! Talk about a sad Momma!!! There was blood everywhere, I was in tears:( Not only does he take his first step and fall he hits his top teeth that haven't even been in for a month! Now at my old job I saw this everyday and told hundreds of mom's oh it's ok no big deal just let them eat popsicles to reduce swelling. But this was my poor sweet precious baby!  Good thing Kinley was there she kept saying "Mama it's not your fault"! Lol He hasn't tried to walk again, can't say I blame him!

It's Cheer time!

                                                     2011-2012 GJHS Cheerleaders!!!

Kinley had cheer camp this week! These girls worked HARD in the gym all week & of course the one week we are there....the a/c goes out! But they didn't complain they worked hard and learned a lot!!! I cannot wait to see my baby girl cheer this year:)! There is just something about watching her do the same dances at the same field that I did them all those years ago! It takes all I have not to bust out it the fight song with them!! HAHA She would die of embarassment!

My favorite Cheerleader:)
Hudson had a blast a cheer camp also;) He spent most of the week being loved on my all the girls! He especially loved that they all let him pull their ponytails! (his new favorite thing to do!) He just does not think bows belong in hair because he tries to yank them out every chance he gets;)!

He watched the girls so much he now sits in an "S" sit all the time! Lol

We had a busy but great week and can't wait to watch our sweet Kinley cheer on those Bulldogs!

Wisdom from Walgreens

So several weeks ago Hudson & I were making our weekly run to Walgreens, Yes we go there every week I live such a glamorous life;). But anyways while we were shopping an elderly man stopped to play with Hudson he commented on how handsome he was then asked if I had a daughter? I said yes I do. He told me how lucky I was because once Hudson was grown I probably wouldn't see him that much!!! Ahhh did he know that he was talking to an emotional basket case!?!?! I mean really I can cry at the drop of a hat especially when it comes to my BABY!!!

He said "A daughter is a daughter for life but a son is only a son until he takes a wife." He then proceeded to tell me how he has two boys and they rarely come to visit but his daughter comes often. He said that wives just naturally take over that parent roll for men and they just don't "need" their parents as much but girls always have that desire to make their parents happy.

So I guess I will be raising me a big ol Mommas boy so that he will never leave me!!!! Haha

Whirlwind week...

Man the past two weeks have flown for us! A lot of little things here and there have kept us mega busy!

Brandon turned the big 3-0! Woo hoo:) he of course wanted no party! lol So we went to Tulsa to our favorite mexican place: Teds- it is a MUST TRY! Then we did some house shopping got a new table for the entry way & a picture for above the couch YAY! The next day we spent in NWA where we went to Fleet feet & he got some custom running shoes.

Kinley has taken up a new hobby- playing the guitar! I always said I wanted my kids to try everything but this kid may take it to extreme!!! This week she has some form of practice, lesson, or camp from morning to night! But I love that she's really involved in things instead of just sitting at home in front of a TV.

And as for my sweet man Hudson he's just as great as ever:) tooth # 2 is coming in. He's waving and saying bye-bye, giving high-fives and just getting into everything!!!

Saturday we had a shower for one of the girls from our SS class at our house. It was so nice to have all the girls over. We seriously have some of the best girls ever in our class! Baby Jaylee got some great things & we all got to chat and enjoy good food and cake:)

So I have to say my life is full, busy and sometimes chaotic but I just LOVE my life it's just getting better by the day!

Made for Missions

My sweet Kinley had a blast on her mission trip to Little Rock! They worked at a childrens home and put on a 3 day VBS for them. Then they went to a rice depot and bagged then boxed 390 boxes of rice then took it to a local shelter it was enough to feed over 7,000 people! What a blessing!!! She loved every second of it, I see many many more trips in her future :) Her favorite part was when they lead Praise & Worship at the childrens home. She hasn't stopped singing the songs since she got home!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Tomorrow my sweet Kinley will be 12....crazy I still feel like she should be totting along beside me not off doing big girl things! She was born at 11:52 am weighing 8 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long. Words will never even begin to describe how I feel about that little girl she is just amazing to me!!! We literally grew up together my first aparment was with her, she came to my freshman college English class more than most of the students, she sat many of times eating at Western Sizzlin as I finished up my shifts, she was with me the day I signed the papers on my first home I bought for us, she was my flower girl as I walked down the aisle, she was and always will be one of the biggest parts of my life. She has just grown into this person who I admire. Her heart just bleeds for others and I have no doubt she will touch many peoples lives over the years. I try to be the mom that I would want her to be but at the same time her actions make me want to be more like her. She's just great! So Happy Birthday to my favortie girl in the whole world!!!
