He loves to eat:)

Never thought...

 I never thought... I would love dinosaurs or rocketships or trains or farm animals or frogs but this little boy has me ooh-ing and ahh-ing over every Thomas the train or barnyard animal we pass!! Tonight Hudson and I went to Kohls and of course we browsed the toy section:) I just love playing trucks with him, we just roll those things all up and down the hallway everyday. But I just never imagined I would find myself thinking dinosaurs were "cute" but somehow when you become a mom of a boy all these things gain the cute factor. He loves anything with a frog on it so now I do to! Although I am dreading the day he brings a real frog in my house....that frog I will NOT love! Now don't get me wrong I love doing all my girly stuff with Kinley but I am really enjoying the new boy-ish things in my life:)

One day...

One day this sweet little girl is going to change the world...and she doesn't even know it yet.

He's ONE

                                                                                     That's right my baby man turned ONE!!!

On his birthday we had several great friends over for lunch and cupcakes. So fun...we have some wonderful friends in our life. It was nice to chat with all the girls while the kidos just ran wild and played! Then on the weekend we had our family party. Hudson had a blast he loved opening his gifts and he just played and played but then....it was time for cake. He HATED the cake!!! I mean cried real alligator tears!!! He smacked his hand right into the center of the cake pulled it out and screamed!!! hahaha At one point he cried and said Dada get me!So he did:) I tried a cupcake later- still not a fan. I cannot figure out how my child can't like cake!?!? Pretty sure I ate cake daily when he was in the womb!

So needless to say it was a great week at the Hardcastle house.

   Tonight I hosted a pink or blue party for my Sisterinlaw and it's a BOY! I wanted a girl just to dress up and so I could buy those frilly girls bows and dresses but as you can probably tell I sure love baby boys!!!  I'm so anxious for this baby to get here! You never know how much you can love someone elses chid until you become an Aunt:)

It's already been a year!?!?

  This time last year I was snuggled up on the couch staring at my perfect newborn baby boy!!! This has just been one of the most joyous years of my life! It just seems crazy how fast time flies with a baby. I can still remember every detail from the hospital and every sweet friend and family member that came by to meet our new blessing, I can still hear every little sound he made those first few days he was home- what great memories those are:) But this baby boy has grown so much!!! Something new everyday it's just so neat to watch their little minds grow. I try hard not to dwell on losing that "baby" phase ( although it's hard to do sometimes because I LOVE it!) but instead I just try to focus on raising up the best little man I can! And I have to say so far so good:) He is a happy healthy little boy!

Life lately..

  Oh how I LOVE watching this little girl cheer on the same field as I did:) This was on kick-off, her first time to fly as a 7th grade cheerleader! So far the 7th grade is undefeated!! Maybe it's beacause they have such great cheerleaders!?!?! Lol She is also running cross-country right now so we have some form of practice, game or meet every night but she loves it so it makes it worth all the time.

We just broke this little cutie from the bottle!!! Tear, can't believe he will be ONE in less than two weeks!!! He just gets sweeter by the day:) He is laughing in this picture, at his sissy of course! He is her number one fan! Everything she does just cracks him up! He is just learning new things by the minute. He loves to clap now. I spilled something in the floor the other day and he just clapped and clapped over his mommy making a big ol' mess!

  Hunting season has begun so Brandon is loving that! And between all of Kinley's stuff we are getting ready for Hudson's Birthday party. We decided to do to small ones. On his Birthday we will have a playdate with friends and have lunch and cupcakes, then that weekend have a family party. Can't wait!                         

First steps and a fat lip.

   Well this little cutie was sitting in the floor playing away as I was folding the laundry last week. Then all of a sudden he just stood up without pulling up on anything took two steps ( towards his sissy's room of course) I guess he realized what he was doing because he turned to look at me then face planted on our hardwood floor!!! Talk about a sad Momma!!! There was blood everywhere, I was in tears:( Not only does he take his first step and fall he hits his top teeth that haven't even been in for a month! Now at my old job I saw this everyday and told hundreds of mom's oh it's ok no big deal just let them eat popsicles to reduce swelling. But this was my poor sweet precious baby!  Good thing Kinley was there she kept saying "Mama it's not your fault"! Lol He hasn't tried to walk again, can't say I blame him!
