Eight is great

               My baby man is almost 9 months old!!! Ugh time is going way to fast! This has been a great month for him. He is just learning so much so fast. I feel like it is a new trick or new word everyday. Everyday I become more and more grateful for the oppourtunity to stay home with this baby blessing! Here are a few things he has learned this month:

New words: Daddy he has been saying dada for awhile but now he will just squeal "Dadeeee" so sweet!
Bubba I think he says that because he always hear us say it.
Baba-bottle

Tricks: Playing catch. He could throw or roll a ball back and forth for hours!!! He just loves it! He laughs so hard if you miss it when he throws it to you.

New food: Popsicles, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes

Weight: He has def been packing on the lbs lately!!! He loves to eat:)

First tooth:) well it's not all the way in but finally broke thru the gums thank goodness!!!

He is pulling up on a few things and can stand alone for a few minutes, exciting!!! But still no crawling,,,the kid hates to be on his belly!!!

He gives hugs and kisses,aww so sweet! But he also slaps and pulls hair, HARD!

So let me tell ya this teething has been ROUGH! But PTL a tooth has finally broke thru:) but my sweet man has not wanted to eat these past couple of days. I mean it was a fight to get him to eat 4oz of milk and baby food was out of the question! But of course he loved when I would let him have a popsicle, so I got the bright idea to blend some fruit up mix it with some formula and freeze it, this was a big hit!!! He thought he was getting a popsicle and I was feeling better because he was eating, WIN WIN!

Backyard photo shoot!

I was trying to get Mr. Hudson to go down for a nap the other night & of course my no-nap baby wasn't having it! So I thought why fight it! lol So I stipped his pj's off & dressed the kids up then we headed to the backyard for some new pics of my two favortie kidos:)! I am pretty pleased with how they turned out especially for a spur of the moment idea! After looking at some of the upclose shots I realized I had put my lipstick on Kinley instead of my clear lip gloss..oops made her look a little to big! Just wanted to clarify that the dark lips were a accident & that I am not one of those toddlers & tiaras mommas!! haha

Teething time...

My sweet little man is now teething!!! He had a slight fever last night and his poor little gums are so swollen and red. He is 8 months so and still doesn't have a single tooth so I'm expecting them to all start popping in at once:( But he still smiles that sweet smile even through the pain. Brandon had been goig since 5 am yesterday so when Hudson got up at 10 crying I went to get him but Brandon wanted to rock him. I thought it was so sweet because honestly if I had been going all day like him I would have just wanted to sleep!!! He is such a great daddy! So thankful my kids have such a great example to look up to.

VBS & Mission trips

So last week our Church had VBS Kinley decided she wanted to work it with me instead of going this year. (ahh she's growing up so fast!) We worked with the 2 year old class and let me tell ya they are an active little bunch! I was constantly laughing at them there was not a one of them that didn't do at least one funny thing a day! Kinley worked hard because of course they all loved the idea of craft time but their tiny attention spans did not last quit long enough;) so Miss Kinley colored shirts, bags, purses, hats, and made them necklaces with their names on them. She told me she could see herself working in childrens ministry when she's older, I agree! This coming Monday she leaves for her first Mission trip! She is going to North Little Rock they are going to work at a food bank, clean up a park, and put on a VBS in a low income area whose Church couldn't afford it. I look forward to hearing her stories when she comes home!!!

Bad Blogger!

 I seriously LOVE reading everyones blogs but never seem to have anything or any time to write in my own! I am going to try and do better :) But I really feel somewhat boring compared to some of the awesome blogs I read! lol It has been a busy couple of months for us. I watched my nephew for a couple of weeks until school was out and let me tell ya a 6 month old and a 12 month old keep ya hoppin'! But I really enjoyed spending the time with him, I want to be that "cool" aunt;). haha. Kinley has joined the cross-country team at school. Let me just brag a little and say she is stinking AWESOME!!! She just decided to run one day out of the blue & she is great at it! Every time I pick her up from practice she says it was easy no matter how hot it is or how far she has to run. She has my old Coach which is neat, he is a great guy super nice but makes them work hard. I am so excited for this summer looking forward to hanging out with friends and lots of time at the pool!
