Sometimes you just...

Sometimes you just say yes to..EVERYTHING!

To say I have been busy this week would be an understatement! I've been going since the moment I wake up until the minute my head hits the pillow at night. Life has been crazy busy. Needless to say my house has been neglected. So today was my day I was going to catch everything up. But somedays you just need to say yes.

You say yes when your baby asks you out of the blue to take him to the play place.

You say yes to staying way past nap time when he's having so much fun.

You say yes to emptying every bit of change from your purse so he can watch it go round & round.

You say yes to giant cookies that are hot & gooey even when you know they will make a GIANT mess.

Then you say yes to sitting in the driveway a few extra minutes because you know the second you turn that car off that brief car nap is O-V-E-R!!!

Well I turned the big 3-1 yesterday:) I had such a great birthday weekend. I had dinner out Friday night with some of the sweetest friends.

              Ate this amazing cake!!

Saturday my mom watched the kids and Brandon and I went out. Lunch, shopping and to the movies. It shows just how long it has been since we had been to the movie theater they had expanded and added about 10 more movie screens! Ha!

Hudson made me a birthday card:)

That night Brandon's family made me dinner and had everyone over. Hudson loves playing with my nephews.

Then yesterday we went to church. I tried getting a good pic of my two littles that's easier said than done!

Hearing Hudson tell me "happy dirt-day" 100 plus times may have been the best part of my day:)

I love a rainy day

We awoke to raindrops on the roof and it was wonderful!!! Snuggled my babies in bed after taking my biggest baby to school:)

So thankful for the dip in my driveway that holds water. It is without a doubt one of Hudson's favorite places in the yard:)

As soon as he saw it had quit raining he said its puddle time momma!!! Which is what we call splashing outside until all the water drys up! Which is usually pretty quick with this Arkansas heat!

Smocked love

This was taken on the tiny princess' 5 month birthday!

I have been waiting and waiting for her to grow into this little smocked dress! 

Just love little timeless dresses like this. I have a few that were Kinley's that she will be wearing when she's older, can't wait!

Hudson says...

Sissy if you pull my hair again I will lay you in the corner since you tiny and can't stand up!

Mom I really wanted to poo poo on your table. But I didn't you happy? Yes son I'm very happy about that.

I want to see the real pay pay! There is a new girl in his MDO class named Paisley who he calls new pay pay & our Paisley is the real one:)

After church. Momma you know Jesus and James are brothers not sisters cuz they not girls.

I told him we needed to be extra sweet to sissy and say a prayer for her since she got her shots yesterday. He said ok I pray you better sissy!

Another great check up!

Miss Analyn had her 4 month check up this week. She is almost 5 months but we are a month behind, better late than never!

She weighs 12lbs 2oz. 5th percentile for weight. Tiny I know! Kinley weighed that by two months! The doctor isn't worried about her wight at all since she actually consumes more formula than the average baby! He said since she is SO active that she burns more calories than most her age. And she may be blessed with her mommas hyper metabolism:) she will thank me later in life;) 

She was a tad over 26 inches. Which is 60th percentile for length. I don't think the doctor believed me when I said she was trying to crawl until he was trying to measure her and she rolled over grabbed the paper on the table and used it to pull her little self across the table. 

She isn't a fan of naps but still sleeping 12-14 hours at night. She naps great if we are on the go but at home she thinks she needs to be up going with everybody else.

She LOVES for anyone to talk to her. She just lights up. She is just such a joy. I think she really makes everyone in our family happier everyday:)
